| Now's your chance to get as much mulch as you need or want at absolutely no cost to you (what a break for your pocketbook, eh?). There are so many uses for this great stuff around your home...in your garden or flower beds to hold moisture and keep those pesky weeds away or create easy and inexpensive walkways through your landscape just to name a couple. All you need to do is bring a container to put it in...trailer, truck bed, bucket, trash bags...whatever you've got handy and come to the park between 8 and 1. Someone will be there to help with the loading. Don't miss this opportunity to get your free landscaping material! |

A stepped up burn ban is in effect for all area LCRA, Travis County, and all City of Jonestown parks. No cooking fires are allowed that are fueled by charcoal, wood or any other solid fuels. Park visitors are only allowed to cook with "container" sources like Coleman brand or other gas stoves and/or grills. Fines range from up to $500 in Travis County, to up to $2,000 in Williamson County for violating the burn ban. All Fire Related Bans, Prohibitions, Procedures & Guidelines |
