Missing/Fatalities: 8 confirmed fatalities and 4 individuals remain missing. Search efforts continue.
Flood Resource Recovery Center:\ Location: Danielson Middle School, 1061 Collaborative Way, Leander\ Services Available: Showers, hot meals, food boxes, cleaning supplies, crisis cleanup help, health screenings, and mental health support\ Hours:
- Thursday, July 10: 12:00 p.m. β 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, July 11 & ongoing: 9:00 a.m. β 6:00 p.m.
Door-to-Door Visits: County and state teams are conducting damage assessments and wellness checks.\ Report damage at: damage.tdem.texas.gov
Flood Recovery Resources
Food & Basic Supplies:
- Central Texas Food Bank is distributing food daily at Round Mountain Baptist Church, 14500 Round Mountain Rd., Leander
Trash Disposal:
- A large household trash dumpster is available on the north side of the Sandy Creek bridge (foot traffic only).
- Travis County is waiving drop-off fees at the 1431 Citizens Collection Center (2625 Woodall Dr.)\ Hours: ThursβSat, 8:00 a.m. β 3:50 p.m.
Storm Debris Pickup:\ Travis County is working to contract storm debris removal. Residents in unincorporated areas should begin sorting debris into piles (e.g., appliances, construction, vegetative) placed curbside without blocking roads or access.
Disaster Assistance:\ Even though Travis County is not yet included in a federal disaster declaration, you can pre-register now:\ π www.disasterassistance.gov

Lost documents? Contact the appropriate agency for:
- Birth Certificates: Texas Vital Records
- Property Titles, Marriage Licenses, Divorce Decrees: County Clerk or District Clerk
- Vehicle Title/Registration: TxDMV
- Driver Licenses or State ID: Texas DPS
- Passports: travel.state.gov

Travis Central Appraisal District offers temporary property tax exemptions for flood-damaged property.
- Must show at least 15% improvement damage.
